Red Mountain

We are pleased to announce the release of this exquisite Merlot from the highly acclaimed Ciel du Cheval vineyard, one of the oldest and most prestigious vineyards located within the Red Mountain AVA. The aromas are a complex presentation of dark fruit followed by toasted caramel, worn leather and earthy notes.  The wine has exceptional depth and a brilliant dark garnet hue.  Pure and distinguished the wine is well-balanced and lusciously rich with soft velvety tannins that offer enchanting fruit flavors.  Refined, concentrated flavors of roasted plum and dark currant on the palette, the wine is accented by savory herbs, hints of earth and tobacco accents while being soft and polished.  The wine is opulent, with gracious refined tannins and captivating fruit that will age gracefully while continuing to develop for years to come.
