Rich and polished, this 100 percent Syrah is a reflection of the highly acclaimed Ciel du Cheval Vineyard located within the world renowned Red Mountain AVA. This limited production, single-vineyard wine succeeds beyond all measures and is allocated exclusively to our wine club members. Having intense character the wine is dense, rich and refined while bringing out the concentration from the low yielding old vines. Polished and gracefully complex with refined aromas of black cherry and wild berry fruit it offers a polished texture that glides along toward refined tannins. The wine is riveting and well structured, offering layers of extraordinary fruit with earthy notes that come together in a long and harmonious finish. Dazzling the wine brings immediate appeal but also offers plenty of cellaring potential.
