This distinctive wine exemplifies what Washington State Merlots are known for, coming from one of the oldest vineyards on Red Mountain. This 100% Merlot from the highly acclaimed Ciel du Cheval Vineyards is boldly expressive and rich while illustrating wonderful balance and structure.  The aromas are a complex presentation of dark fruit followed by toasted caramel, spring blossom and dark chocolate.  The wine has exceptional depth and a brilliant dark garnet hue.  Pure and distinguished the wine is well-balanced and lusciously rich with soft velvety tannins that offer enchanting fruit flavors. The wine is opulent, with gracious tannins and captivating fruit that will age gracefully while continuing to develop for years to come.  Drink now through 2031.
